About the Founder

Barbara Burk knows about unemployment and job search during difficult times.  Not only has she successfully assisted job seekers; but also, she, personally, overcame these challenges.

When creating her mindfulness-based job interview preparation program Ms. Burk write a research paper drew from her experiences as a Career, Outplacement, and Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor, Job-Seeking Skills Facilitator, Sales Trainer, and Industrial Sales Representative.  After this program, entitled Lemon-Aid, demonstrated remarkable success and her clients reported it to be user-friendly, Ms. Burk decided to offer it to the general public so that they, too, could reap the benefits of quickly returning to work.

Ms. Burk is a graduate of The Ohio State University and The University of Michigan, where she studied counseling.  She is an Ohio Licensed Professional Counselor and a nationally Certified Rehabilitation Counselor as well as a Diplomat of The American Board of Vocational Experts.  She is frequently called upon to work as a Vocational Expert in courts of law.   Ms. Burk maintains an office in Beachwood Ohio.
